Alberto Pizango Chota, líder indígena perseguido politico, fue denunciado ante la 25 Fiscalía Provincial en lo Penal de Lima, por los delitos contra el patrimonio, en la modalidad de fraude en la administración de personas jurídicas, contra la fe pública, en la modalidad de falsedad genérica en agravio de la Asociación Interétnica de Desarrollo de la Selva Peruana (AIDESEP), así mismo por el delito de usurpación en agravio de la denunciante Sra. Soledad Fasabi Shupingahua, tesorera de Aidesep.

Esta denuncia la interpuso la tesorera en mención porque, según sus propias palabras, Alberto Pizango no informaba a su pueblo de cuánto de dinero ha ingresado a las arcas de Aidesep; ante esta negativa del líder indígena, Soledad Fasabi acudió a la organización APSI para recabar información y se encontró con una grave sorpresa, el informe de APSI no coincidía con el informe de Alberto Pizango, resulta que este señor había dado otra información que no se ceñía a la verdad, ya que muchos de los proyectos se habrían ejecutado sólo en el papel, mas no en lo físico.

La dirigente indígena también denunció que fue destituida de su cargo en forma arbitraria por Alberto Pizango, por no estar de acuerdo con la forma gansteril del manejo de los recursos que ingresa a través de donaciones a esta institución. También dijo de que el señor Alberto Pizango Chota, hizo hasta lo imposible, para que no se desarrolle la asamblea general, en donde él tendría que sustentar con pruebas, los causales de la destitución de la tesorera y de cómo se viene manejando los recursos de esta organización indígena. Precisó que Alberto Pízango Chota, prefirió convocar a una huelga indefinida a los pueblos indígenas, antes de desarrollar esta asamblea, sirviendo claramente esta huelga indefinida, como una cortina de humo. Soledad Fasabi, también hizo denuncia pública en contra del señor Edwin Vásquez Campos, por ser un cómplice convicto y confeso de Alberto Pizango; fue enfática en decir que el señor Edwin Vásquez, está en esta institución sólo por beneficios personales, mas no para luchar las justas reivindicaciones de los hermanos indígenas.
